After a short battle with stomach cancer, we got the word yesterday morning that Uncle Jim had passed away. I am very sad that he is gone but also so happy that I knew him. He was such a joker, always a funny comment or quick comeback, he was someone that you always wanted to be around because he was so warm and caring! His family was so great, you couldn't help but look at them and want to have a family just like that! Uncle Jim wasn't just Lars' uncle but also mine, I didn't really have an uncle in my life so I was so grateful to marry into a family where I would have that. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. I am so grateful for the gospel and the comfort it brings during these hard times! We love you Jim, Sandra, Jeremy, Daniel, Vanessa, and Ryan!!!!
