The great state of TEXAS!!

What else was there to do on Labor Day weekend

then to pack up the car, grab some gal pals, and

spend the weekend in Texas! Everyone thought we were crazy for doing it but we did, left our kids and husbands behind and had a girl's only roadtrip!

We had a blast! We shopped, stayed up late, shopped some more, got lost, went to Dallas, shopped, needless to say we took Texas by storm!

3 things I learned in Texas:

1. Don't ever go through Amarillo, your just asking for trouble if you do!!!!

2. Texas is in love with itself! You can't look anywhere without seeing a Texas star plastered somewhere.

3. A Texas accent is a funny thing! I never heard so many ya'lls in my life!

By this time of the trip the heat and humidity were killing me!!! How can people live there? I have so much new found respect for my sister-in-law Katie who lives there, how do you do it Kate?

We booked two rooms at the bed & breakfast. This doll was in one of the rooms we booked. She freaked us all out so we ended up sharing beds and all stayed in the same room together! Thanks for being my bed buddy Jen!!!!

Purses, hair stuff, jewerly, etc., everything a women could ever want was in this store! We loved it and are wondering how we can get a store put here in Colorado (it seems to be a Texas only thing).
