I think most of you mom's out there can agree there is nothing more hideous than shopping for school supplies! The list gets longer every year and before you've even purchased backpacks, clothing or shoes you've already spent a small fortune on:
1-ream of white copy paper
2-boxes of 24 count crayola crayons
36-#2 pencils (sharpened)
2-boxes crayola (classic color) markers
2-large boxes of tissue's
1-fiskers (pointed) brand scissors
5-individual 70 sheet wide rule notebooks
1-crayola (at least 8 colors) set of watercolors
These are just a few of the things we have had to purchase for only 1 of our girls school supply list this year. I think the schools and crayola have some kind of kick back program going on because they want crayola and not some (cheaper but just as good) off brand for crayons, markers, and watercolors. Most things you purchase (unless they tell you to label them) will be used by all the kids in your child's class at the end of the year you won't be getting any of that stuff back either!
For those of you who don't have kids in school, start saving now because who knows how long and detailed your school supply shopping list will be!!!!!!!

Just wait until the crayolas are replaced by Texas Instruments graphing calculators that cost $100.00. Actually those are probably extinct by now. Keep saving, cuz the cost will only get higher! Fun times!
Oh I'm dreading doing the back to school shopping because of all the moulah it's going to take! I guess that's part of the deal when you have 5 kids, 4 of them in school huh?!!
What makes me mad is when you get your school supply list late and then there is nothing left to buy. Then what????
