On our way to parent teacher conferences, Haylee told me she had something important to tell me and I said "ok". "Mommy, I have a crush on a boy." Oh, boy! I didn't know what to say. Like any good parent I just played it cool and asked her a few questions about this boy. While we were walking into the school we just happened to walk by this boy and Haylee got all goofy! She said hi to him of course, started blushing, and then got all flustered! It was very funny to watch. I guess this day had to come sooner or later!

I remember my first crush. I was over at his house with him and a couple of his guy friends. They were playing Ninja Warriors. He so kindly told me to go up into the tree house because my life was in danger. He also gave me the assignment to pull bark of the trees that way he could defeat the bad guys. I so willingly did it! I know, pathetic! At least she is not pulling bark of the trees for him ;)
